New York, NY - From beyond the great northern lights a horse appears from the sky. He approaches a young girl walking along the bank of a river. They fly away to a magical kingdom where they deliver a rare flower to a princess who transforms in a flash of sparkles into yet another beautiful horse. Got that?
Eyeball recently set out on a quest to help build a kingdom for Bella Sara, a company that creates trading cards of magical horses for young girls. The :30 commercial takes the viewer on a fantastic journey which feels less like a product promotion and more like a high-end 3D film for children.
"We focused less on the product and more on the make-believe experience of interacting with the illustrated characters on the cards." states Creative Director Limore Shur. "Bella Sara came to us with a short narrative. We were able to translate the script cinematically into what we feel is a very strong piece of character animation and design targeted to a young audience that we rarely have the opportunity to focus on."
