The Strength is in the Concept.
Eyeball Visualizes the High-Tech, Mash-up Culture Found on The G4 Network.
NEW YORK - In an age where 'sub-culture' is popular culture, where 'hi-tech' is the norm & a 'remix' is the original product, the G4 network has positioned themselves in the middle of all the noise. Sifting through the multiplicities and mash-ups and making sense of it all is expected for an 18 year old, but not necessarily so easy to come by for a network.
The G4 network approached Eyeball about creating 3 very different Station Identity spots that would strengthen their position as a peer in 'the network', a leader in broadcasting, as well as a fellow 'gamer' & 'audiophile'.
"Creating Identity spots for G4 was a chance to experiment with motion, editing styles, and cutting audio. They weren't afraid to take a chance on communicating their style, and we were pretty sure that the average G4 viewer was more tech & fashion culture-literate than the average TV viewer." comments Art Director/Animator Neil Stuber.
